Way back in 2020, other than the worldwide pandemic, our family personally also moved due to my husband’s job. I had spent the first half of the year managing our life of packing, moving, unpacking, transitioning schools for the kids, setting up a new house, getting settled in a new town, and finishing the remodel of the old house. Once all this had calmed, I realized my kids were getting older, the cost of living was drastically increasing, and would continue as the view of college for the kids was also getting closer. My question to myself was, what’s next? What do I want to do in the future to solve problems and answering questions.
I did have a small accounting business that was keeping me busy about 10 hours a week. I had left a part-time job when we moved. I decided for the future of our family I needed to begin the more intentional process of setting the foundation and creating a business for both security and personal sense of accomplishment. Thus began several months of prayers, planning, and research on determining where to begin and how to move forward.
